Well my search for employment went well, a little too well. Who knew having to pick between 2 good job offers end up being so complicated and stressful?
Anyway, in my spare time I would like to do some freelance motion graphics, animation, almost anything to diversify my work. If you are looking for some help, contact me so we can see if we can work something out.

Author: BIGMIKE
I just noticed that my embedded videos do not play in Safari 3. So in case you were trying to watch a video and it was not playing, I updated the links to include the video’s Vimeo page. I’ll talk with them after the holidays to try and resolve the issue.

Resume Update
Author: BIGMIKE
I have updated my resume to reflect the fact that I graduated from the University of Florida this semester, as well as a couple minor tweaks. I made the new resume flash-based, since it was pretty weak the way I had it previously as just a plain HTML table.
Now it’s time to find a job…any takers??? Please contact me.

OK my reel is back up and running, I updated it by adding a the Current TV promo to it and changing the order of certain clips.
In other news my career as a student is likely over, as I will be graduating in the next few days. I’m working on updating my resume page in anticipation of looking for a job.
I also added a new blogroll link, the MographWiki, a great resource for motion graphics.

What’s Going On
Author: BIGMIKE
Well I spent a lot of time during summer making sure I built up my site and getting my reel together. Lately…not so much.
I’ve been working with Cinema 4D trying to get better at 3D animation. I made a promo for Current Using Cinema 4D, specifically mograph, but they are having some technical difficulties posting it on their site. I’ll link it up once it’s up there.
aefreemart posted a link to my paper rip tutorial which I thought was cool, good to see that someone has looked at my web site besides my mom.
I want to make more tutorials, but I have come up with any new techniques or ideas. I’m trying to keep the tutorials to things I work out on my own. And lately I’ve been the ones using the tutorials so I’ve got my own work cut out for me.
The only other thing to share that I thought was cool was this technology Adobe is working on to take what essentially would be 3D photos. It involves special lenses and software that could seperate foreground, background, etc. in an image. Maybe soon in the future you will be able to scratch this off short list of things Photoshop can’t do.
